About this Event

Combining safe practical techniques for patient comfort, desensitisation and better results for the lower limb.

This course is for healthcare professionals and practitioners specialising in the lower limb who want to extend their knowledge of Shockwave Therapy to be used outside the usual Plantar Fascia and Achilles conditions.

Take an in-depth view at all conditions of the lower limb with a specialist look into combining safe practical techniques for patient comfort, desensitisation and better results when treating : 1st Joint, Forefoot, Mortons Neuroma, Dorsal Foot, Ankle complex, Plantar Fascia, Achilles and Calf.

Shockwave techniques beyond Plantar Fascia and Achilles. An in-depth look at conditions including 1st Joint, Forefoot, Mortons Neuroma etc..

The Theory Sessions will explore Shockwave Therapy clinical studies for the lower limb (Summarised) over long term periods using example cases (with results) and discover techniques to expand Shockwave use beyond tendinopathies.

As specialists in rehabilitation, find out how to instigate a treatment plan to improve movement or reduce pain in lower limb conditions and improve quality of life for your patients.

The Practical Sessions will focus a lot on Desensitisation. We will go through which heads to use, Shockwave Frequency/Bar and technique (deep or superficial) for each condition. Learn where to use Shockwave Therapy when treating tissue, bones and tendons, fascia, muscles and nerves. Take your Shockwave skills to the next level as all-round technique for treating the whole body will also be included.

You will be asked if there’s anything specific you want to cover or discuss - group discussions usually materialise which is great for sharing Shockwave successes and concerns.

Lunch provided on the day. Certificate sent after course completed via email.
